Happy New Year! Yes, 2018 is here! I'm still absorbing that fact, but I am excited for a new year!
I thought I would start the new year off with a blog post that eloquently displays Corianne Elizabeth bridal beauty.
When Kalin first reached out, she explained that she and Alan had already tied the knot. She was interested in working with Michelle of Michelle Scott Photography, but Michelle was unavailable for her wedding date. So, she decided to do somewhat of a styled shoot after her wedding day, to allow for some photographs with Michelle. Great, inventive idea, right?!
After taking a look at Kalin's wedding gown, the other dress she had chosen for the shoot, and speaking with her about her style; I knew a classic look was the way to go. It was amazing working with Kalin to create this look. We had a great time chatting about the work she does in school nutrition and beauty, of course!
Kalin has very thick, healthy hair; so, we weren't limited with styling options. I wanted something that added to the delicate, gracefulness of her Jenny Packham gown, but wasn't distracting. I figured some glamorous Hollywood waves were the way to go.
With her gorgeous eyes and lips that are perfection, I chose Mauves and rose golds for her eyes, with a simple black liner. That, plus a slightly muave-nude lip color, was perfect. This was my first time really working with the various highlight products from Becca cosmetics. Let me tell you, from that day on, I was truly a fan . . . You should see my kit :-)
There are so many photos that I adore of these two. Which is your favorite?
Michelle not only took shots of Kalin and Alan on the streets of Cartersville, but also amidst the lushness of Barnsley Gardens. So be sure to stay tuned for part 2 of these two!
For those newly engaged ladies, feel free to contact me here! I would love to discuss with you the #CorianneElizabethBride experience and create something exceptional, just for you.
Happy New Year! . . . Blessings, Corianne
