As a beauty professional, I most certainly have items in my kit that are staples. Meaning, no matter what other products come my way, they will forever be in my kit (unless the company decides to change the formula, which unfortunately happens sometimes). That being said, I am still on the lookout for new goodies, especially due to the fact I go through so much product, so quickly.
With summer fast approaching, this is a time I really keep my eye out for new products. Many cosmetic brands release summer collections and it's a great opportunity to try out new things!
Tom Ford is a favorite of mine. Between the luxurious brushes and the texture of the eyeshadow . . . Love them! I knew Tom Ford would be putting out a summer collection so I had been on the lookout for the new product. I'm typically not one to buy things once they hit the website, because I like to do my research. I finally decided what items I wanted from the collection based on the needs of my clients, work I have coming up, and things I personally want to try out.
One of the products I chose to try it is their Bronzing Primer. This product simply intrigues me. I think it would be great for a "no-makeup" makeup look; to warm up fair skin; and even to brighten caramel complexions.
I also decided on their Bronzing Powders as well. This comes in Gold Dust, Terra and Bronze Age. Now, I am not one to use bronzers to contour, I simply use them to add warmth to the face (and sometimes the body). Often time with bronzers, I think they are too orange or they have too many shimmery particles in them, so I'm looking forward to testing these on myself and my #corianneelizabethbrides.
I also grabbed the Cream and Powder Eye Colors in the shades Naked Bronze, Black Oyster and Golden Peach. These are eye color duos that offer a metallic cream eyeshadow paired with a sparkling powder. I love the concept, because I think the duo with help provided just the right amount of dimension.
The Shimmering Body Oil I just had to have. I personally like to use shimmering body oils in the summer for a night out; plus they are great to have in the kit for photo shoots. I'm not sure if this is something I will use on my brides. It will depend on how it dries and sets on the skin.
Do any of these items peak your interest? If so, which one?! I will definitely update on how these products work out. I'm hoping each of them is a keeper!
Stay beautiful! . . . Inside and out.
